An earlier project of mine was transcribing the handwritten journal of Benjamin Franklin Knowlton. I have a photocopy; the original is in the archives at the Historical Department of the LDS Church. This is version 1.0 of the transcription. There is still some work to do, notably in the index. Any suggestions on improvements, or comments on place names or people, would be greatly appreciated.

Just a quick post to keep you all up-to-date on the Utah Knowltons book project. As I mentioned in my last post, I’m concentrating on those sections that are most directly related to my part of the family, so the Sidney Algernon/Benjamin Franklin Knowlton chapters.

Some of you may be aware of the book The Utah Knowltons by Ezra Clark Knowlton. The reason I say “some of you” is I’m not sure who is going to be reading this post. I’m discovering that the Knowltons are scattered far and wide across the country.
